Belvoir Camping

Our site is rather unique, it’s not every day you camp with stunning views of a castle… yes a castle. Not any castle, but Belvoir Castle – as seen on the world famous drama, The Crown.

Situated in the village of Woolsthorpe by Belvoir on the Grantham Canal, our campsite is ideally located for exploring the Viking Way and the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Vale of Belvoir – with plenty of walking, hiking and cycling routes, local fishing lakes and a selection of great country pubs.

Next door, the Dirty Duck Pub offers delicious home cooked food and a great range of ales, wines and spirits. For large groups camping, who want to enjoy meals at the pub, please reserve tables in advance to avoid missing out. Any groups over 10 people are kindly asked to pre-order so the best service and experience can be offered to you.

x10 hard standing pitches

WASH BLOCK

Ladies: 2 showers, 2 toilets
Gents: 2 showers, 2 urinals, 1 toilet
2 washing up sinks

Grass pitches
Each pitch is approximately 13m wide by 6m deep (78m2) and we welcome small motor homes, campers, caravans and vans as well as tents. Please note that pitches 10, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18 and 19 are only suitable for small – medium size tents as they are slightly smaller and as the site tapers off access to vehicles at that end of the site becomes tricky.

All pitches can offer an electric hook up but the connections are not at every pitch. There are a number of units with four 16amp sockets around the perimeter of the site. You can see where they are located on the campsite plan below. If you are not in a pitch right next to the EHU then we do recommend a long lead hook up – 15-20m cable to be safe.

Each pitch includes up to 6 guests, 1 vehicle and 2 dogs.

No EHU rate is £22.00 a night. You can select an EHU as an extra at check-out for £6.00 a night.

Pitches 36 and 37 are to pitch up differently and should park up along the hedge line – different to the image shown below for everyone else.

Each pitch includes up to 6 guests, 1 vehicle and 2 dogs.

Facilities

A newly refurbished wash block is available for you to use during your stay. This is located a 1 minute walk from the pitches.
